From November 5 to 8, 2024, China Construction Bank (CCB) was invited to participate in the 10th Asia-Pacific Energy Sustainable Development Forum hosted by the APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC). The theme of this forum was "Sustainable Energy and Green New Quality Productivity," with over 300 experts from official delegations of 15 APEC economies, representatives from 16 well-known international organizations, as well as domestic universities, research institutions, renowned enterprises, and local governments.

As a special guest, CCB delivered a speech titled "Promoting High-Quality Development of ESG and Promoting Green and Low-Carbon Transition" at the sub-forum of 8th APEC Workshop on Sustainable Cities - Urban Energy Security in the context of Carbon Neutrality. In the speech, CCB introduced its commitment to high-quality development, thoroughly implementing the "Five Major Articles," integrating ESG principles into strategic planning, business management, risk control, and achievements in green finance and climate risk management. Attendees were impressed by CCB's ESG practices and engaged in extensive discussions with CCB representatives regarding inclusive finance, green finance, and other issues.
